Helping women grow in faith
Fourth Tuesdays, 7 - 8:30 p.m., Living Room
WomenSpirit is for women of any age who are longing to grow their relationship with God. We come together monthly as real women -with real lives, real joys and real struggles - to pray, learn and grow together. We begin each evening with a time of contemplative prayer. Then we check in with each other with the simple question, “How’s your faith life going?” Finally, we discuss a chapter of a book that we are reading. In each case, our conversations are honest, open and inspiring.
If you are looking for a women’s group to support you in building your relationship with God, you are invited to be part of WomenSpirit. We meet on the fourth Tuesday evening at 7:00. Pastor Susan is our leader; meetings are in the Living Room.
It is most beneficial if you purchase the book and read each chapter before we get together. But if you don’t get the reading done, come anyway.
This year we will be reading Barbara Brown Taylor’s An Altar in the World.
