Immanuel is committed to helping people grow in their relationship with God. Alpha is one of the best opportunities available that helps people do just that, grow in faith. In a clear and compelling way Alpha answers the most basic questions of faith including:
Who is Jesus and why did he die?
How and why do I pray?
How can I be sure of my faith?
Why is there evil in the world and what is its cause?
How can I make the most of the rest of my life?
When: Beginning Thursday, September 15th at 6:30pm Alpha will be offered at Immanuel in a 9 week presentation/discussion format.
What: A typical Alpha evening begins with a meal and fellowship time, a chance to unwind, enjoy some good food and share the company of some great people. After the meal there is a presentation on the evening topic. The material is Bible based, topical, funny, engaging and educational. Who: Alpha is for everyone, members of Immanuel, family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, all who want to find answers to questions of faith and grow in their relationship with God.
Why: It is an opportunity to find answers for life’s questions and assurance in the midst of life’s uncertainties.
