Rainforest Falls and River of Life

This year, we are journeying through the mist into Rainforest Falls, overflowing with wild waterfalls, towering trees, and colorful creatures. Beneath a canopy of chattering birds and howling monkeys, kids plunge into a lifelong adventure of discovering the nature of God. They’ll explore what it means to be rooted in relationship with God, their creator, a safe place in life’s storms. All of creation relies on water to live. But water is much more than a resource. For people of faith, water is a powerful symbol, with significance as deep as the natural stores that cover the globe. In “River of Life,” participants will learn about the importance of water and visit important “ports” during the week to hear Bible stories about water. They will also hear about communities working to restore watersheds, to protect rights to water and to ensure safe water for everyone.

What is Vacation Bible School?

• Vacation Bible School, a summer ministry of Immanuel Lutheran Church, is an opportunity for members to invite friends and relatives and neighbors to join us for a fun, energetic, purpose-filled Christian experience.
• Donations are accepted so we can give scholarships to families in need and to subsidize the cost of this ministry. 
• After care available by registration- $35/child/day

VBS is open to children 3-years-old through 4th grade (school year 2025-2026). 

We are excited to be able to offer VBS to ALL children, no matter the circumstance! The suggested donation helps to cover supplies for the week, but is not a requirement for participation.
