Caring Ministries

Called to Care

“You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem (our own community)…” Acts 1:8

Immanuel is known as a community of faith where we love and care for each other. Much of this caring takes place in day to day relationships with family, friends, and neighbors. Several caring ministries take the form of supporting each other in times of crisis or life change.

Care Team Requests

When disruptions come up in your life, we want to know and are here to offer prayer and support in whatever way you need. For example, if you've received a new or difficult diagnosis, have a surgery coming up, a friend or loved one has passed away, or any other of life's challenges, we're here to support you and walk with you.

To help us better support you, a friend, relative or acquaintance, please submit a Care Team Request.

Living & Growing Through Loss

Losing someone we love is one of life’s most challenging passages. Understanding the grieving process and having the opportunity to explore one’s feelings with others can be helpful and can lead to personal growth and healing. Five area churches partner to offer this seven-week series to provide education and support to help individuals involved in the grieving process. Each of the seven sessions will provide information and presentation of a topic of interest, as well as a time for sharing in small groups.

Details about the next Living and Growing Through Loss course is available online: Southwest Grief Coalition, or at Immanuel's Welcome Center.
