Faith Formation in Lent

Table Talk

Wednesdays: February 21 - March 21, Wednesdays, 6:15 - 6:45 p.m. (Not Ash Wednesday)

During our “bridge” time between dinner and worship during Lent, we will be having “Table Talk” over coffee in the atrium, inspired by Martin Luther’s practice of gathering folks around the table to talk about faith and life matters.  We invite you to join us for Table Talk, which opens with a brief reading from the Lenten devotional You Are the Way, followed by just 2-3 questions about how we connect faith and life, as it relates to the theme of Living Faith and the focus for worship each evening.  If you would be interested in being a table host for one of the weeks during Lent, please contact Pastor Angela at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

April 25 - Creative Giving
Presenter:  John Urbanski
In the past, giving to Immanuel was pretty straightforward.  You typically would write a check each week and drop it in the offering basket.  Today, there are many more options to give that are worth considering.  And the new tax law brings a complexity to charitable donations that most people have not considered. There are opportunities to be creative in your giving and maximize your tax savings and cash flow.  Topics to be discussed will include:
