Join Deacon Savannah August 9th-13th for a week of outdoor adventures in the metro area! Each day, we will meet for a devotional, outdoor adventure, and lunch together at one of the many beautiful parks and trails we have near us in the Twin Cities. Come for one day or come for all! Please register online so we know who to look for at the trail head.

• Sunday, August 9th – Richard T. Anderson

  • Hiking (hilly terrain)

  • Meet at trailhead

  • Picnic lunch starts at 12:30pm with hike to follow (done around 3:30pm)

• Monday, August 10th – Fort Snelling/Minnehaha Falls

  • Hiking/Walking (mostly flat terrain)

  • Carpool meet at Immanuel at 8:45 am, meet at Fort Snelling 9:30am

  • Lunch at Sea Salt (finish around 1pm)

• Tuesday, August 11th- Minnesota Valley State Trail

  • Biking between Chaska & Shakopee (10-20 miles depending on group)

  • Meet at Bloomington Ferry Unit Trailhead at 9:30 am

  • Picnic (BYO) along the way (finish around 1-2pm)

• Wednesday, August 12th – Willow River State Park

  • Hiking/Walking (waterfalls)

  • Carpool meet at Immanuel at 8:15 am, meet at trailhead 9:30am

  • Hike with picnic lunch (BYO) to follow (finish around 1pm)

• Thursday, August 13th –Lake Minnetonka

  • Kayaking or canoeing (will need to reserve in advance)

  • Carpool meet at Immanuel at 8:15 am, meet at park 9:30am

  • Finish with picnic lunch (BYO) and finish around 12:30pm
