School Supply Campaign 2026
Supporting kids at Prairie View Elementary, Cristo Obrero & Cornerstone
Though summer is just beginning, stores have already decided it is Fall, which means its time to start collecting money for school supplies! This year we will be raising funds to buy supplies for three of our community partners, Prairie View Elementary (133 students), Cristo Obrero, and Cornerstone! Our goal is to raise $2,500 by August 16 so that funds can be used to purchase all the supplies needed by each of these groups. Helping provide supplies for students makes a huge difference for families and in giving students an equal opportunity to begin the school year with the tools they need. Thank you in advance for making this possible!
We are also collecting backpacks for our three partners (larger & sturdy preferred). These can be dropped off outside the front office.
As we get closer to August, keep an eye out for additional volunteer opportunities to help distribute and deliver all these supplies to the communities our partners serve. We also invite you join us between worship services on August 23 to help us assemble the kits for each individual student we are sponsoring at Prairie View.

VBS Donations
To help keep the cost of VBS down we're accepting donations of a wide variety of items that you can donate. Some donation needs will be found at church, and you can buy and ship donations directly to Immanuel!
Diaper Donations & Deliveries
Support our partner Redeemer Lutheran as they help with a food shelf in their neighborhood. Donations of baby wipes and diapers of all sizes are needed - these items are in high demand for families accessing food shelves. Volunteers are needed to deliver diapers to N. Minneapolis the first Saturday of the month.
Little Dresses for Africa
Humanitarian relief to the most vulnerable of God’s children.
If you can do basic sewing, we have a perfect project for you! Pillowcase dresses, made by volunteers from around the world, go out as little ambassadors to plant in the hearts of little girls that they are worthy. As relationships are built, projects are completed through clean water, education and community. Premade kits are available to make six pillowcase dresses. Pick up a kit in the atrium at Immanuel. Donations of pillowcases, rickrack, bias tape and thread are also welcome. For more information contact Deacon Savannah.
