Service of Remembrance

November 01, 2018

Service of Remembrance
Thursday, November 1, 7 p.m.

Alan Wolfelt wrote “In some ways, love and grief are very much alike; they both have the power to forever change our lives.  Just as I must surrender to love, I must surrender to my grief.”

Losing someone we love is one of life’s most challenging passages. As people who have suffered a loss we invite you to attend the annual Service of Remembrance at 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 1.

This service will be simple including scripture, music and prayer.  We will light candles in memory of our loved ones and there will be a time for fellowship and refreshments at the end. We hope you will consider attending. Even more, we hope you will invite others to join with you.

The Bible makes it clear that our grief is relieved by the hope and promise of the resurrection, but also by the community we enjoy with others.  Please come and be healed by this community.

All are welcome.  Child care will be available.
